GETTING INVOLVED AFTER YOU ARE CERTIFIED BY ARC: We refer our course graduates to several national organizations accepting volunteers and staff, and we find LOCAL organizations, in the area we are training, that people can get involved with in their community and area of service. We have also had 12 NEW organizations and task forces launch from alumni of our courses forming action teams. ARC is NOT recruiting personnel for our own organization, and we are an all-volunteer organization with no paid positions or internships.

ABOUT ARC: The Association for the Recovery of Children (ARC) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization (established 1993) comprised of former intelligence (CIA), military special operators (SEALs) and law enforcement personnel that rescue missing, exploited, abducted, or trafficked American children being held in the US or overseas. WARNING TO SURVIVORS! If you are a trafficking survivor or sexual abuse survivor, know that this course purposefully trains on how to combat all the tactics of sexual predators and traffickers. This is NOT A COURSE designed for healing, and YOU WILL LIKELY be triggered if you have not completely healed of your trauma.

• IN PERSON ONLY: Due to sensitive information being shared and interactive training activities this course is not offered virtually.
• 6 DAYS Monday – Saturday, November 17-22, 2025
• HOURS: Daily 8:00 am – 6:00 pm (Lunch break 12-1 pm). In addition, there is an optional Evening Session Wednesday 7-9 PM and optional morning Session Friday 7-8 AM. Timing may change depending on class discussions. Your flexibility is appreciated.
• INCLUDES a CURRICULUM booklet with course outline.
• CERTIFICATION via a formal certificate upon completion. Attendance at each session in full is mandatory for certification. If you cannot attend all 6 sessions, please do not register. Contact info@recoveryofchildren.com with specific questions.
• LOCATION: Venue Address will be Provided Privately, Venice, Florida 34292
• LODGING: Hotels, Airbnb and Vrbo also available in the area. Lodging arrangements are not provided by ARC.
• AMENITIES: Coffee, tea, water and snacks will be available at all times in the training room.
• MEALS will not be provided. Many restaurants and stores are in the general area. You may also bring your own lunch if you like, or go in on group lunches with other course participants.
• TRANSPORTATION: Each participant is responsible for their transportation to and from the training venue. The closest major airport to Venice, Florida is Sarasota Bradenton International Airport (SRQ), located about 24 miles north of Venice proper.
• ATTIRE: Casual, comfortable clothing is recommended during the training course. 
• ELECTRONIC DEVICES NOTICE: For security purposes and to protect sensitive course content we will require that course participants keep their electronics (cell phones, laptops, smart watches, tablets, iPads, etc.) in Faraday bags during the course instruction. Individual and bulk Faraday bags will be provided at the course, or you may bring your own Faraday bag or leave your devices in your car during course instruction. We will take 5-minute breaks every hour on the hour during the course, and people can check their devices during breaks.
• DEPARTURE: Day 6, Saturday, will possibly go until 7 or 8 pm depending on the class size (we will provide food if that is the case) so to be safe, please make any travel arrangements after 9 pm that day or on following days.
